Around 10.00 HRS Paul drove to Stockers via Moneyhill Parade,on arrival a few finches were seen
in flight we walked towards the hides, numbers of Coot  along with Great crested grebes and Tufted ducks. From the first hide  Black headed gulls were on the raft,at the second hide we met Tony Hulls and
Geoff Lapworth,a Great Spotted Woodpecker showed briefly we heard Water Rail and saw Sparrowhawk,Paul and I moved off.
We were alerted by GL and TH  that  a female Goldeneye was showing as we left a flock of Long Tailed Tits and Goldcrests we returned home around 12.15 hrs.

On Thursday I walked to Maple Lodge for a couple of hours walking to the Teal hide where I found the long staying Green Sandpiper. A few Common Teal were present and a hunting Grey Heron,of note two Grey Wagtails and a Kingfisher in flight.
Eventually I found one of two Snipe present.A number of Ring necked Parakeets were very vocal and a Mistle Thrush graced my garden on a fine Autumnal day.
